All manuscripts submitted to Educational and Social Science Research must be original and free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct a similarity check using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to submission.

As part of the editorial assessment, the journal screens all submissions for textual similarity using plagiarism detection tools, such as Turnitin or equivalent systems. The journal applies a general similarity threshold of less than 20 percent. Manuscripts with similarity scores exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the overlap.

The editorial team recognizes that similarity reports may include legitimate overlaps arising from references, commonly used methodological descriptions, or properly quoted material. Therefore, editorial decisions are not based solely on similarity percentages but also on a qualitative assessment of the similarity report.

Manuscripts found to contain substantial plagiarism, including unacknowledged copying of text, data, or ideas, will be rejected and may be subject to further editorial action in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy.
